Back home

Mr D's back from the hospital. He's got his medication supply, fortified drinks and some aids to help him to move around the house. We'll have a nurse over everyday, to assist him with his medication, etc.

27 days in the hospital and we have met so many patients with cancer, all fighting the same battle. Some have given us more strength and hope. On the other hand, we've also seen some worsen throughout the weeks.

In Allah we trust and surrender...

Mr & Mrs D,
Akhirnya dapat juga tengok i.e 'put face to the names' tp sayu rasanya melihat jauh susutnya badan Mr.D. InsyaAllah kesakitan & kesihatan tu datangnya dari Allah - bila2 je boleh sihat kembali. Dont give up!
D - biar je lah those pic - sejuk mata memandang!

D, not sure to address you kakak or just D. you look really young. At first, from just reading your entries, I used to imagine you're much older lady, tapi ruper2nyer, muda sgt pulak ;-)

On the other hand, mmg dah berbulan2 tak visit your blog. I heard about your husband's condition from an ustaz. Only about 1 week before eid, i found out (via dr kd's blog), that it's your husband. anyway, you and family are always in my do'a.

semoga diberikan kekuatan dan ketabahan, dan bertambah iman.

salams and Eid mubarak to you and your whole family D. I am back in terengganu now where I could get internet access. We have been reading all your previous entries and are quite shocked to see how Mr D has changed - as he was still quite sturdy when we had last saw him. We still haven't finished talking to everyone here about how nice you & your family are. I'm glad you finally had put your picture up on your blog. To me it puts a face to the person who had written all those thought provoking paragraphs.

Our prayers and doa are always with you and family. salams to Mr D and your children from all of us. do keep us updated!

Dear D,
Thank you for putting up the pictures. Last I saw you and your husband was at my wedding in 1996. I still have the pictures of you both then.
I know its heart breaking to see your loved one deteriorate physically, but I am sure you would have noticed how strong he has grown in other aspects, including his will and strength to fight this battle.
I've been keeping up with your blog everyday, and it has stirred a lot of memories for me, good and sad ones. I am glad you have this blog up. Keep writing, as catharsis, with doa is a good form of therapy. It helps untangle your thoughts, and also help all the readers to 'reflect'.
16 Syawal will be Nazri's 4th year anniversary of his passing. Much missed by me and his 2 young children, Al-Fatihah.
