As life goes on...

Everyday, the only thing that keeps me going is the believe that He knows what's best for me. Hanging on to this, with every echoing emptiness, perplexing trial and excruciating downfall, I need to only remind myself,
(Holy Quran; Al-Insyirah, 5 - 6)
I'm trying very hard to endure and persevere. Things are not easy but others have it ten times more difficult. Always blessed, I know that the little siginificant and insignificant happenings in my life are the strings that help keep my chin up and appreciate more of life.
Let the wind blow in my face, let the storm rage in. Humble me, O Lord Almighty, and forgive the sins I have made, as well as my late husband's, my parents', my children's and all my family members'.
And life goes on...

Salam Kak. I am 'fighting' my own battle. I like reading your blog because it is so inspirational.

In searching for peace within myself, I somehow am able to use the phrase 'He knows best' when it concerns something that happened naturally, maksudnya sesuatu yang di luar kawalan kita. But I still not fully able to use the phrase when it concerns things that have happened because I have made the wrong choice.I am now 'tormented' by the choice that I have made. I always say 'I should have taken the other choice'. Macam mana ye Kak? Do the choices that we choose also dah di tentukan olehnya?

Kak, do you have any surah or ayat that can make me understand about this?

Thanks Kak.

my dear friends,
thanks a lot for the kind words. I'm glad (though a little surprised!) that some find this inspirational as I do write it to keep my own spirits high...

Naz,
One day, I want a real hug, ok?? ;)

Ryehanna,
Will hop over to check your entry, InsyaAllah..

MsB & MHB,
You know how it is... as single moms we need to push on and on...ourselves!

RG,
My tests always seems so petty compared to yours, dear! And, because of that, I count my blessings...

ReensPorcheSale,
thanks for zooming by (porche la kata kan!!).

Anonymous,
Thanks for sharing. Senang je dik, about accepting the concept of 'Allah knows best' ni. It's our 6th pillar of Iman: believe in the divine will (percaya pada Qada' & Qadar). So, redha dengan ketentuannya, baik yang di tangan kita ataupun tidak. Don't be too hard on yourself. Trust Him and you'll find yourself more at peace (not that I always am! LOL).
