been awhile now...

It's been almost a week since I last made an entry. The move has made me quite busy. Still, I have had time to check on my favourite blog sites and they have been enjoyable. It's wonderful to read about so many achievements in the past year, and how the coming year is positively looked upon. And I? It is that issue that's kept me away from spending a moment to pause and reflect.

5 days has gone by the new year and I don't know where they've all gone. What have I accomplished? What have I done? Where am I going? I am still as lost as before. Let's move a step back.

2006.
It was a challenging year. I have done things I have never thought I'd ever do. Be it good or bad. Most importantly, I have made a big step away from my very safe and secure life (which can be full of tangles) into the unknown; with a heart full of hope and faith in the Almighty Allah. I have been lost so many times, without direction at all, except from Him. And I have learnt a lot about life. Perhaps not as much as so many millions out there and nothing to boast about. Nonetheless, I have learnt. I have also learnt to live one day at a time, and not to set too high an expectation in life.

After 5 days, I have finally decided to mend the holes I've made in the past. I am determined to be closer to Allah as only He can be the best friend to any of His beings. I do not know what picture my path will draw, but I do know where I'm heading. I will need His help in giving me strength because indeed, I lack it.

With a little help from close ones, I am determined that life can possibly be a little bit better than before. For now, my journey continues...

how did the 'moving house' go? and here's a cheeky question, so when's the house warming party? Are we invited? hehe... Joking dear D!

IT's always soothing to read about those who always in seek of Allah's guidance and blessings. May Allah guide you to the right path always.

Remember Allah and 'seize the day', that's my motto to help me go thru life. Always plan for the future, but move forward one day at a time.
